A seemingly mysterious sense
Is tingling up my spine again
Trying not to look back
I shut my eyes and listened
To the swaying trees...
To the eerie wind...
To a voice calling my name
Just around the sizzling darkness
Desperately wanting me...
I still hadn't worked my way out
Of this deadly nightmare
I'm trying to shiver those thoughts away
But I couldn't budge
I wanted to scream
But I seem to be hypnotized
By this crazy torment
I'm in such a weak state
Somebody help me...
PLEASE!!!

My Dejected Sentiment.
I'm in search of your affection
But scanning your soul makes me weak
We say empty words
Reassurance is all I need
Can't you heed my pain
It's screaming to be heard
But all you can see is my wriggling toes
Nothing else...
Maybe I'm way too loud
But it seems to have some sense
Than be defenseless from your sight
Bet I would taste so sugarless
You know sharing is good
But I'll try and try until I die
Knowing somehow we're in this together
Missing you is forever and a day.

short vacay.
Summer is almost here!
This season is always exciting.
There are good memories almost all the time. My birthday falls on this season
as well, so somehow I always have the party and vacation mood during this time.
Well, we decided to kick off the
season early. We needed a vacation very badly. Plus, it was Raymund’s birthday,
so we went off to spend our weekend at Canigao Island. It’s a small island
south of Leyte with white sand, clean beaches, and cool seawater.
The long trip towards the island
is so worth it once you step on the white sand. The place is indeed a paradise!
It’s not yet populated with tourists, so it seemed like we had the whole island
to ourselves. It’s a great place to unwind, what with all the work at the
office.
It’s always an event to remember
if you have good friends with you, so my friends and I enjoyed every minute we
spent there.
Take a look at some of our pictures, courtesy of Anthony's camera:
-- waiting for our barko --
-- rented this tricycle bound for Matalom --
-- listed our names on the pumpboat's schedule --
-- the pier --
-- posing for the camera --
--a glimpse of the island --
-- first steps on the beach --
-- our little cottage --
-- one of our jump shots! --
